Seed comparison

Two seeds, one neighborhood window - real engine output, side by side. Spawn-centered windows compare the worlds you would actually spawn into; shared coordinates compare the same spot of the world, cell by cell. Every color and number below is computed by the game's own Bedrock 26.50–26.60 algorithms in your browser.

Pick two seeds

Type or roll two seeds above and press Compare. Both neighborhood maps, the difference map and every percentage come from the engine - nothing here is estimated.

The rules behind the colors

The same window answers differently per seed because each dimension picks biomes by its own fixed rule - the seed only feeds the noise. These are the engine's own mechanics, read out of its code:

Overworld · nearest climate boxthis window

Six climate readings (temperature, humidity, continentalness, erosion, depth, weirdness) and the nearest leaf box in a 3,795-box tree wins. The windows above are that search at depth 0, run on each seed's own noise.

Nether · 5-prototype Voronoi

Two perlin channels place every quart on a plane; the biome is the nearest of five prototypes, two carrying distance penalties that shrink their ground. Depth plays no role at all.

The End · island geometry

Pure geometry: The End inside the 1,024-block main-island circle; outside it, an island-height threshold splits the outer lands into Small Islands, Midlands, Highlands and Barrens.
